Spectra’s pipeline is too close to Indian Point- A Risky Business
It was A Risky Business that sent us down the rabbit hole. This short film tells just a small segment of the story. The more we learned about Spectra Energy’s fracked gas pipeline and gas infrastructure in general, the deeper and darker things got.
After filming all sorts of public hearings and protests that didn’t make it into the final cut of our 4 minute short, we knew we would have to spend more time and tell a bigger story.
Fracked gas infrastructure projects are happening everywhere in our country. The gas from the shale fields has to go somewhere! In the case of Spectra Energy’s AIM pipeline, it is headed to the coast of Massachusetts for export. Resistance groups are forming up and down that pipeline’s route.
We have decided to continue to film for the rest of 2016 and will do our best to tell the story of fracked gas infrastructure.
